I was a Market Research (MR) professional for over 15 years. YouGov breaks just about every MR rule and guideline that exists. They don't even pretend to be impartial; at a basic level the design of their questionnaires is misleading and coercive, so thus the results will always be biased and misleading. I would not trust YouGov to do the right thing in any circumstances.

Be aware that I'm not defending AZ here - at all. I'm merely asking why the Vaccine Minister's company was briefing against one C19 vaccine manufacturer - and asking who the client was and whether the Minister was aware.

Apologies, there was a slight typo in the original version of this article (that gave the wrong date for the Politico article). But, just to clarify, YouGov was clearly briefing media that Astra Zeneca was seen to be less safe than Pfizer - based on a survey. The briefing was clearly happening when Nadhim Zahawi was Vaccines Minister.

A very serious typo as it should as you say have been 2022 but it is so important that we, the general public, can clearly see our government for the most part cannot be trusted. Surely the governments all over the world who have been active covid pro-vax products in anyway whatsoever should be found guilty of the massive number of deaths & injuries these so called Safe & Effective vaccines have caused.

No, 2021 (not 2012 as per the initial draft). Zahawi was Vaccines Minister From November 2020 to September 2021. However, during that time he indicated that he had no direct interest in YouGov. However, given the recent disclosure that he had made a substantial financial gain as a result of a share sale it's clear that he had/has a financial interest through Balshore Investments, a Gibraltar-registered family trust.

This was all theatre that served two purposes, in my opinion.

I believe pfizer and moderna (or their paid shills) went about discrediting the Astra Zeneca to :-a) take the heat of the damage being caused by their own, and :-b) thus increase their market share.

Don't believe for a minute that those who pulled the Astra Zeneca injection were acting for your best interests.
