You make some extremely insighful comments and yes, we ultimately have the power to vote our leaders in or out but when you have to choose to vote for the person who is least likely to create damage rather than create more opportunity then something is going badly wrong with the people who work within the parameters of democracy.

How do we possibly get to a place where the right person is eventually elected on their innate ability to safely deal and cope with the complexity of the role, creating an environment around them which is psychologically safe and all options are explored to the benefit of us all.
