In Dodsworths latest substack she blamed Hamas for all the deaths in Israel and Gaza and when I commented that Israel had founded Hamas to use when they want another land grab, and are committing genocide, their real aim being to access the gas in Gaza, she called me an anti-Semite'. A pile on ensued to try to censor me. For a journalist she's very biased and totally asleep.
A supposedly staunch advocate of freedom of speech and expression and a member of the Together Declaration.... yet Laura Dodsworth only adheres to these values when suits. This tendancy to cherry pick scenarios where free speech principles are ok to be applied, pastes a hypocritical film over this issues and erodes the fight against the expanding censorship-industrial complex. Disappointing, but not surprising as I see more and more that advocates of free speech are often part of the elite class that use these values when suites to pick and chose which breaches they deem fit to fight as in the Free Speech Union.
