NI Assembly Elections

Time to vote for only pro-freedom candidates
2

On May 5 there will be local government elections in England, Scotland and Wales. But, in Northern Ireland, there will be elections for the local legislative assembly. This is the first devolved administration assembly election post-lockdown.

Most of Northern Ireland’s political parties supported lockdown and the various regulations that curtailed freedom for most of the last 2 years. While the DUP voted against some regulations and extension of ‘emergency’ legislation, just one of its MLAs (Paul Frew) had the courage to campaign against the (Ulster Unionist Party) Health Minister’s draconian, pseudoscience based Covid policies.

Many independent candidates and members of smaller parties are standing on an anti-lockdown, pro-freedom ticket. We wish them every success.
